By accessing and using Hector the Collector AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
2. Description of Service
Hector the Collector AI provides AI-powered antique identification and valuation services. Our service uses artificial intelligence to analyze photos of antique items and provide identification reports including estimated age, origin, value, and condition notes.
3. Free and Paid Services
We offer five free antique identification per visitor. Additional identifications require a Pro subscription at $12.99 per month. Subscriptions are billed monthly and can be cancelled at any time.
4. Accuracy of Information
Our AI-generated identification reports are provided for informational purposes only. Hector the Collector AI does not guarantee the accuracy of any identification, valuation, or appraisal. For official appraisals please consult a certified antique appraiser. We are not liable for any decisions made based on our reports.
5. User Content
By uploading photos to our service you grant Hector the Collector AI a non-exclusive license to use those images to provide our service. We do not sell or share your images with third parties. You retain full ownership of any photos you upload.
6. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use our service for any unlawful purpose, to attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, to upload harmful or malicious content, or to resell our service without written permission.
7. Cancellation and Refunds
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months of service.
8. Limitation of Liability
Hector the Collector AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of our service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the past 12 months.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email.
